Terms of Use

OneBhakthi is open to anyone with an interest in faith and community life in the UK — places of worship, festivals, poojas, and events. If you're under 16, please use the platform with a parent or guardian's involvement.

Some features — posting in the forum, submitting events, managing your event dashboard, and contributing to pooja guides — require Google sign-in. You're responsible for activity under your account. Admin access is restricted to designated site administrators.

When you post in the forum, submit an idea, list an event, or contribute to a pooja guide, you keep ownership of what you write — but you give OneBhakthi permission to display it on the platform.

Please keep contributions respectful and relevant to the community. We may review, edit, or remove content that is offensive, misleading, spam, or unlawful, and may suspend access for users who misuse the platform.

Events are submitted by organisers and reviewed before they first appear publicly. OneBhakthi does not run or guarantee these events. The organiser named on each event is responsible for its accuracy, delivery, and any changes or cancellations.

OneBhakthi is a booking platform, not the seller. When you book a ticket or make a donation, your agreement is with the organiser named at checkout and on your ticket. OneBhakthi provides the booking page and nothing more: we don't run the event, we don't hold your payment, and we don't issue refunds.

Payments. Card payments are taken by the organiser through their own Stripe account, so the organiser's name appears on your card statement. OneBhakthi never receives or holds the money, charges no booking fee and keeps no part of the price. Stripe charges a card processing fee on every payment. The organiser decides whether they pay it or you do; if you do, an estimate is shown as a separate line before you pay.

Refunds. Each event shows the organiser's refund policy at checkout, on your ticket, and in your confirmation email. To ask for a refund, cancel, or change a booking, contact the organiser. Their email is on your ticket, and replying to your confirmation email reaches them directly. Whether a refund is given, and how much, is the organiser's decision under their policy and your legal rights. Any refund is paid from the organiser's funds, back to the card you paid with.

Cancelled events. If an organiser cancels an event, they are responsible for refunding you.

Gift Aid. If you make a Gift Aid declaration, it is made to the organiser's charity, and the charity is responsible for claiming it from HMRC.

If you can't reach an organiser, email us at the address below and we'll pass your message on. We can't issue a refund ourselves.

If you take bookings or donations through OneBhakthi, you are the seller. You're responsible for the event, your refund policy, and dealing with your attendees under UK consumer law.

Payments and card fees. Bookings are paid directly into your own Stripe account, and Stripe charges you its fees at your Stripe rate. You choose whether your attendees pay an estimate of that fee at checkout. OneBhakthi takes nothing from a sale and never holds your money.

Refunds are always yours. You decide and issue refunds from your event dashboard or your Stripe dashboard. The refunded amount comes out of your Stripe balance. Stripe doesn't return its card fee when a payment is refunded, so that fee stays with you whoever paid it at checkout. This applies whether you cancel the event or an attendee asks to cancel. OneBhakthi does not pay any part of a refund.

Cancelling. If your event isn't going ahead, cancel it from your event page. Every paid booking is then refunded in full from your Stripe balance and everyone booked is emailed.

Chargebacks and Stripe charges. You are responsible for chargebacks (disputed card payments) on your bookings, including Stripe's dispute fee. You answer them in your own Stripe dashboard. If Stripe charges OneBhakthi for a refund, chargeback, or card fee on your sales, you agree that we may recover that amount from your Stripe balance or ask you to repay it.

Your contact details. People who book your event see your organisation (or your name) at checkout, and your email on their ticket and confirmation, so they can contact you directly.

Gift Aid. If you turn on Gift Aid, you confirm your organisation is a registered charity entitled to claim it. You are responsible for your claims to HMRC and for keeping the declarations.

Pooja guides, festival information, and related content on OneBhakthi are provided for general information and to support community knowledge-sharing. Practices vary by tradition, region, and family custom. This content isn't a substitute for guidance from a qualified priest or pandit, and we don't guarantee it is complete or suited to every tradition.

Please don't: scrape or systematically extract data from the site; attempt to disrupt or overload OneBhakthi AI or other features; impersonate another person or organisation; or use the platform for anything unlawful.

The OneBhakthi name, logo, and original site content belong to OneBhakthi. Content submitted by users (forum posts, event listings, contributions) remains theirs as described above.

OneBhakthi is provided "as is" during soft launch and beyond. While we work to keep information accurate and the site running smoothly, we don't guarantee the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on content submitted by other users or organisers.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may update these terms as OneBhakthi develops. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
